Finally finished this trailer that I started on a year ago. Based on a small boat trailer that had seen it's better days. Just wanted a small trailer to haul my B10 with tiller around, instead of using my gooseneck. Bed is 4' x 8'. There will be a winch mounted behind the toolbox to help with loading. Couldn't find a fender I liked, so I built my own. The dump/tilt lift is a old bumper jack.
Sorry about the pic size.

Truckerfarmer,
That's a stout little trailer that will provide years of service! Good job! Fenders look good!
You can haul more stuff home now too!
Regards,
 Chris

I'm workin on something similar...  I hadda old tilt bed trailer, that was a fella's high school welding project, sittin in the bushes.  I think I took $ 100 offa a landscapin project I was workin on, for him.  Anyway, was lookin for somethin that the Ranger can pull, and I pulled it outa the woods, cause I had brake problems with the big truck, and I had lawns to mow...  He made a drop axle outta 2 twin I-beams from an old ford front end.  Sits real low, and I can fit a 5' mower, 'tween the fenders.   Pulls real good at any speed, so far.  Good thing I drug it out, cause I busted an axle, on one of the big trailers, Sunday, AM!

Good Luck with yours, TF!Wink

Several years ago I took an old single wide snowmobile trailer and done almost the same thing to haul a riding lawn mower between 2 places.  It too had the tilt/dump ability,  but much to my dismay the riding mower would not climb the tilted floor.  It just sat and spun the tires.  So I ended up having to use ramps.   My mower is probably getting towards the weight limit of the trailer too,  but it serves the purpose very well.

Best thing to do in this situation, is to sprinkle a little sand-blasting sand on top of the wet paint, on the deck of the trailer.  gives a good grip fer walkin up the ramp, too...Wink

Thanks for the compliments fellas. Really pleasing when a project comes together.
Spent one evening and most of the next day drilling all the holes and bolting the boards down. I think there is 158 bolts for the decking.

You need to look into sdst screws, I did 88 in like half an hour, to attach E track to the steel bed, for securing the mower to the trailer.  Got the idea from this product, I saw on youtube.  I gots plenty of E-track, a buddy takes it outta trailers destined for scrapping...

Anyway, look at the sdst screws, that hold the boards on the trailer, in the video, below...
