I would liked to have cut last week but it doesn't look like the weather will cooperate till middle June predicting a chance of rain every 48 hours for the next two weeks caused by jet stream staying a bit farther south than normal.

I would also really like to but just saw the forecast, Iowa is to expect 7" of rain in the next 8 days.

I'll hopefully be getting started tomorrow. Supposed to be well into the 90's for quite a while and no rain in sight. Hopefully be baling Monday.

Have seen green wheat down for baling but is now too wet to even consider and more wet coming.

The canoe does not have power take off to run the baler...

I certainly don't mean to laugh at the situation but that is a good one

Put up 82 bales yesterday and 235 today. Still have 500-600 bales worth to cut.

Week ago I baled 25 round bales. Had a decent forecast but I decided there was no way we could go two weeks without rain so I sat this week out. We had 1/2 inch of rain this morning. Gonna cut 22 acres Monday if the forecast looks right.

Forecast here looks good so I'm about to go start cutting. Gotta go now as we'll have chicks back pretty soon

Hope you fellas are having a better time than me. Got about half done cutting and made a comment about if that mower doesn't make another acre it was worth the price. Well.... It made about 2 more acres and broke 2 of the 4 drive belts. Something else is going on in it I'm afraid. I got 2 belts on and adjusted about right and it won't turn. Just slips on the belts. Going to have to do some exploring I guess

I have grass hay that’s been ready to cut for 2 weeks now. Rains keep pushing away any attempts. Even if two good days happen, ground is so soft/wet/muddy that I believe it will require another 3-4 days so equipment doesn’t ruin field??
Best of luck to everyone!

IN MY OPINION,, Someone is using a New Holland 850 round baler ,, my good friend ran all over the country with a One Eighty Allis an 850 making thousands of bales, not meant to bash .,

All mine is done. I had real good luck this year. I took off last week and it didn't rain, it still hasn't rained. I've got 60 rolls in this barn, I got 34 in another. The rest I have to store outside. I need a big hay barn.

We did real good this year. Put up 23 5X5 rolls off of 8 acres. Almost double from last year. Of course seeding and fertilizer this spring helped!
