Just wondering about what is the best way to replace these"little buggars"? ------------- A(1937), 2 G, 2 WD45 diesels, 6 WD45 gas, UC, 2 WD, D17 gas, WF, Farmall 400, D12, Kubota B3030 |

I have no D17 knowledge but.... buy 5 as 4 will drop into the bottomless pit of oil... when you're at the store the 2nd time, buy a magnet on stick to get the 'missing' balls  not that that has ever happened to me...be SURE to account for ALL the balls or one WLL go crrrrrunch... | Use a old rail or shaft same size as rail. Grind a U grove in one end. Push tool under ball and spring, rotate tool 1/2 turn. Push tool out with rail. MACK |
