Haven't been on jury duty in years. Don't guess they liked me saying "take 'em out and hang 'em then bring on the next ones. Should have done like Brer Rabbit and said "Brer Bear, what ever you do, please don't throw me in that briar patch."

Got a sumons for US District Court - jury duty - reading the instructions noticed it said if over 70 you could ask for a waiver to be excused - so called and got released .
At first i figured I would serve - then got a call to drive that month and figured jury pay was a lot less than driving pay

You can be excused for medical reasons with a doctors statement to the fact. I have been excused from duty this way before.

Just the facts ma'am.

Haven't EVER got to serve.  Came close a few times, but they settled out of court so I didn't get the chance.
Previous to 199?? sometime, Firefighters were never put into the pool.  State law excused us because of our work schedule.
