Comments, source and price for cab kit for Allis 8000 cab. Also the deluxe brown plaid seat cover. The cab kits from Shoup would these be Fehr? Has anyone used Shoup cab kits and how did they fit and look.

Fehr cab interiors is where I've purchased 2 kits from, roughly $500 will do top and bottom. Highly recommend them. Kits are close to perfect match except the posts where a little big on the two I purchased from them. They also include glue which is very strong in bonding. Their window seal kit is a dead on match too. As for seat cloth, good luck. I haven't been able to find a textile place to reproduce it. It someone knew of a place to get it reproduced, I would gladly send a old cover to them to get the pattern copied.

Ivan Summerix in Michigan is supposed to have seat covers that are very close to original. I must also give a thumbs up to the Fehr cab kits. Finished putting one in my 6080 a few months ago. Very good quality!

Try Hy-Capacity out of Humboldt, Iowa. I have used them in both of the 8070's. Drill out the rivets in the two strips at the right side up high at the door and rear side window and the headliner will come down easier. When installing the foam, I dry fit things first. I started at the bottom and worked my way up. In dad's 8050, the owner before us started at the top and went down. The two pieces on the post were stuffed together and it looks bad. If they would have started with the large fender piece, then the small piece on the post, anything extra on the post could have been tucked up under the headliner and the fit would have been perfect. Hope this helps.

The pull strap on a 73-87 chevy pickup is a decent replacement. It would need to be cut but they could be made to work
