Yep reinforced concrete changed many things and it seems the amount used in WW 2 was monstrous . You can see one example in the German built submarine pens in southern France where they were bombproof with double roof systems . Many other bunkers and buildings also Then here in MN remnants of WW 2 ammunition factory and Naval Ordnance research facility can be seen South of the cities in Rosemount MN on what is now U of M lands . ------------- Life lesson: If you’re being chased by a lion, you’re on a horse, to the left of you is a giraffe and on the right is a unicorn, what do you do?
