We made it through the first year with flying colors. We’re in Fairfield Bay Arkansas celebrating. What a beautiful place. This has been the best year I’ve ever lived. |

Got a funny story about us. When I was 16 and her 14 we were supposed to go on a date. My dad has been in the hospital and wasn’t in good shape. He had one of those bags that have to be drained and he couldn’t do it. I had no money for the date and couldn’t leave dad. A friend told her what was happening. She found a ride the 25 miles from her grand parents house to our house and spent the day with us. We hand little for groceries. She dug around and found stuff to make grill cheese sandwiches. She taught me how to make them and I was so happy. She also showed me how to drain that bag that day. I knew that day that she was the one. It took 35 years to make it happen but it did. |

Gosh,,,"THAT ONE" was dang well worth it to wait for,,,,,even the 35 year wait will seem like nothing compared to the happiness shared Ya'lls first year. UMMmmmm,,does she got a sister,,,,,???

Yep little ole Haley Sue. She’s a cute little cuss and Dee who is very very serious and married to a military man. They’re both good at giving instructions. |

I was raised by a couple old bachelors on a cattle ranch. They taught me a lot but cooking wasn’t one of those. I never got in trouble with the cops. Til later. I was hard to catch in that old blue Ford. |
