Joe , thanks! These are the two that were on craigslist in Maryland. Had a great friend bring them down around Labor Day. Both are 3 point hitch, have factory drawbars, one rear wheel weight. Two front wheel weights, a set of cultivators. I might try to get them going. Well worth what I got them for. Thanks Again, Tracy

Tracy,  Can you send pictures.  Would love to see them.
I really enjoyed selling them and recently plowing with Bob Bollinger's at our Mid Atlantic Allis Chalmers Club Plow Day.  First time I operated a working tractor in 50 years.  I was so excited I went down half the plow furrow and did not drop the plow.  Shows what 35 years of banking does to you.
Give my kindest regards to the outstanding riflemen in Tennessee.  Made my time in the Army a lot better.  Could not believe what sharpshooters they were.
Good Luck!

Tracy be sure to post pics.  I saw 'em, when they were in an old tobacco barn, like 5--10 years before you got 'em.  Didn't need any high priced projects, and the old man that was tryin to sell 'em, wouldn't come down on price...Wink

Dave, they are rough by most standards. The 3 point hitches are actually the best shape I have ever seen. Both have drawbars.Hoods are good, one really good grill shell. One has the front lift system on cultivators.Seats are trash, but seat frames good. Both gas tanks are shiney inside. Both have tachs on them. 2700 and 3400 hours showing. Steering boxes seem pretty tight also. I just need time and money to get on them. Can't thank Orangereborn enough, he is the best! I wish I could get them to post but have lost how to do it. Tracy

Tracey,  See if they have dealer decals on them.  Would LOVE to see the dealer name.  May be one I remember.
Good Luck!

Bill, no decals on either of them. I wish it was. Nice to know the history and journey that tractors and implements have traveled. My HD4 came from California, a G from Florida, the 175 from Minonk,Ill. These two from Maryland. Quite a way from TN. Thanks Tracy

Last I heard of A. C. and Jim Young was that they were Massey Ferguson Dealers.  They were AC Dealers in 1962 when we closed but last I heard they were selling Massey.
Good Luck!

When you posted about them having tachs the other day, I wondered were they would be. I guess that is them I see on the steering column. I've never seen a tach on a D10 before. It looks like someone put them on, are they factory? I'd like to see a close up of one of them.

Those are factory tachs for the D10-12 tractors. HTH Tracy

Those were tobacco tractors.  Often a tractor used for spraying or fertilizer application had a tach, for calibration purposes...Wink
