Hello AC Team:

Anyone have a photo of the AC HD11GC - am assuming this was a later loader version, circa early 70ś with a torque converter?

Maybe had the updated 11000 engine with a turbo?

Thanks for any insights!

The HD 11 EC and the 11 GC was made in the early 60s with a 10000 engine as I recall, there is a11 GC loader advertised on machinery trader for 10900, there is a few pictures with it

The HD11G on MT is a 1972, power shift hydraulic assist steer.  Is Naturally Aspirated.

They have it listed as a 1972 model but it has a serial number of about 8800 which makes that early 60s when they made the the torque converter 11s They wasn't too Poplar and they was only made it a couple of years.

Also the round nose 11s was discontinued in 1969 when they started the B series Square nose

If you study the pictures I have never seen a power shift with a master clutch handle

Interesting - the 11G on MT has one open spoke front idler the other side is solid drum.

Was there interchange potential between Allis 11 G and an suitable sized Caterpillar Model.

I need to get my pitch charts out!

In 1967 the 12 G was introduced, it had 11,000 turbo engine and they 16 size undercarriage, a little larger than the old 11g

The 10000 series engine was the non turbo charged version of the 516 CID Engine and the 11000 series engine was the turbo charged version.

Excellent information RickV57, DMiller and ACJack.  I pulled Norms Construction Book late last night and gave myself a tune up on the 11g, and 12G.

I see AC also sold an 8G but was not available here in the U.S ~ wonder if any of the 8gś filtered into Canada?

Appreciate all the good insights!
