Dad did them one way or another... or just ate em as they were... I never cared a lot for them myself... but a little bit in a salad was okay.

Never heard of using sugar on them except in canning, salt and pepper for me.  I may give it a try. Glad the nurse gave you a break so you could get back on the Forum.

I've heard of and seen people using salt or sugar on tomatoes, but I'm not much if a straight tomato eater. I like them in salads and on burgers, and I love ketchup, though.

And Les, don't be being a stranger to the forum. Check in at least once a day. Unless you enjoy all of the attention it garners to be gone for two months and then show up again. LOL> Darrel

Used to use sugar, mom and dad both still do.  It's ok, but I prefer salt, and some coarse fresh ground pepper too!

Well The legs are fine Shameless. Ny feet tingle once in a while an sometimes my toes eche a little, but I've always had cold feet from poor blood flow me thinkas. The quack aan the nurse don't seem to be to concerned. I'm already on blood thinners. Makes me worry just a little what would happen if'n I was to upset the Harley out there somewhere. But hey, if I didn't want any risk at all, I wouldn't be able to walk out the front door. I'll start anew thread, let ya know what I been up to. It's been a roller coaster ride. Not really a fun one either. Might taake me a bit to write it. Ted still on here? Joe, you ever git that Ferd to run? You driving it up to Blair? I wanna see thet.
