I Had the injectors rebuilt on 6080, now won’t start.
I cracked the lines to injectors and had fuel running out, tightened them back up and still nothing.
While it’s turning over I am getting some exhaust. Any tricks or suggestions.

Couple of unknowns, did you just pull the injectors to have rebuilt or did you also replace the fuel filter? Pump may need to be bled also. Bleeding them works best if you have someone in the operator seat turning it over as you operate the wrench. I always have the injector nut tightened on each injector and bleed each line one at a time.

I had the pump rebuilt by injection pump ed a couple months ago, he did a great job.
I will try bleeding the pump

Do the lines from pump go in top or side of injectors? I would loosen all 4 lines at injectors and crank until all run clear fuel, then retighten.    MACK

While it is rare i have seen where when bumping up the pressure on the injector when rebuilt. may cause it to be to high for the pump to open the needle, ask the guy who rebuilt them if he raised the opening pressure that will help troubleshoot, it could be that your injection pump cant quite open the needle do to age of pump. just my experience.

My guess is the guy set them so high, it won't pop them now. Not sure who did these for you, but it sounds like a bad deal all around. This tractor has AC injectors in it. It's the first time I've seen a 6080 with AC injectors. I have always seen American Bosch, or Robert Bosch injectors in them.

The oldest 6060/6080's never had A-C injectors in them. Always one of the Bosch Brothers injectors.

So someone has swapped engine in this tractor, or something. He texted me a pic of it, and lines look factory, but indeed come in the side, and return is on the top. It had a correct 6080 pump though, DB2437-3837.

the plot thickens....got an early combine engine? I think my 78 F2 had AC injectors but I'd have to look.

F2 shows AC injectors for early ones.
