My best friend’s son died suddenly Thursday night. Full of life, funny, nice, great kid, age 22, gone before he hit the floor. Goes to show ya....

....funeral is going to be Wednesday or Thursday and work is sending me out of town next week, so headed over to see him today. 3 hour drive one way, gives a guy plenty of time to think.

Prayers for you and especially for your friend and his family. Just goes to show that we never know when our time in this life is up so we need to already have our final destination arranged just in case. It is always hard to lose someone that young that seemingly have a whole lot of life in front of them and it is hard on parents to bury their child.

Thanks for all the kind words guys. It means a lot. Had a nice visit. Shared some laughter, some tears, and some beers. I guess that’s what a good visit is all about. Still blows my mind. My buddy is doing ok, good moments and bad moments.

Thanks again you guys.

It’s interesting, my friend, when it first happened all he wanted was answers. Why, how, what...? Now he says he doesn’t care because it won’t change anything. Makes sense.
