I know, I know.  Don't shoot!  My dad has some sentimental attachment - it was his uncle's tractor.
It's been sitting in his cousin's barn untouched for the last 25 years - it ran when it was parked in there.  A couple of issues:
1) The engine does not appear to have any compression.  You can turn the engine with the crank but there is no resistance at all.  The spark plugs are in and everything is complete.  Not trying to start it, just checking that the engine was free.  A little too free it seems.  Any Idea what the problem is?
2) The left rear wheel does not turn.  Transmission is in neutral and jacked up wheel.  It moves a few degrees but appears to get hung up in the transmission.  The right wheel turns freely with no problems at all.  Once again, the tractor was parked there under its own power.
Anyone familiar with these critters?  I am not!
I appreciate any suggestions!

Dad has an M. Check for stuck valves. Spray some oil in the cylinders to lube up the rings. Locked up wheel may be the brake, they have an odd design.

Thanks RW.  Are you saying the brake would still lock the wheel even if the brake pedal is not pushed down?

I agree on stuck valves. Just had that issue working on an Allis G for my brother that had sat. valves were stuck open. Lot of PB blaster and start working them. I would start on that by pulling valve cover and checking.
