So,,I did the trick of sprayin some of thet  yellow foam in the wheel barrow tires because of all them DANG goat heads keepin em flat all the dang time and it does work good,,,,but if you forget and leave the wheel barrow settin too long with a heavy load in the tub,,,,,,,,that stuff will compress and you got you a bad flat spot,,,,!!! All three of my wheel barrows have 8" tires and I see where Harbor Freight has the 8" solid rubber tires with metal hubs and 5/8" shaft for less than $8,,,,
Has anybody give these a try and how do they hold up,,???

I haven't tried Harbor Freights tires but 16 years ago I changed all of the wheel barrows at the horse barn to solid tires and have had no issue. I bought those tires at Lowes I think. But I remember they were $50 a piece.

I put boat trailer tires on mine. Solid wheels are ok but I prefer pneumatic for rolling over all these rocks around here. I also run the no flat tubes. Wheel barrow tires are a joke these days. If ya don’t fill the wheel barrow with a heavy load you ain’t got to worry bout no tire developin a flat spot😀

I put boat trailer tires on mine also they last a long time and I've never had a puncture. Wheel barrow tires are a week 1 ply boat tires will still have a little go e just run 20 psi

Once that yellow foam gets flat spotted it's ruined. The tire that's on it is junk and the the rim is shot.

Yea, I put a boat tire on and thats been near 20 years ago and the old wheel barrow is about shot, and tire is still good.
