Sure did linger,  reminds me of the night I was working the night shift and the elevator I used,  nobody ever used it at night.   I had been in ER for an hour and I was busting and I got on that elevator so I let it rip and the stainless steel panels were about to peel off the walls when the elevator stopped prematurely and pick up this precious elderly nun (Catholic Hospital)  I didn`t say a word,  but I sure wanted to disappear. She probably did too.

I remember Mom telling the story about a couple in church with their kid. One of them cut one...was pretty loud and Mom said you could bet that it was the husband....but he reached over and smacked the kid as if he did it.   Den

Wife makes the best Pasta Fagiola (Italian been soup) in the world, served with home made bread. When she makes that I tend to over eat.....a lot. and then comes the gas

well, my bride had this little wiener dog. Wiener dog was always cold, so would sneak under the covers and sleep between us.

One night, after overfeeding of bean soup, we were in bed, and I cut one. Wife was asleep. wiener dog started coughing, and hacking, trying to crawl out from underneath the covers. Dogs efforts woke wife up. wife got excited and was quizzing me as to the dogs problem when about that time wiener dog broke out of the covers, hacking and coughing and tears coming out of his little eyes, tongue hanging out. wife shrieked a question to the subject as what was wrong with the dog, when about that time the green cloud reached her! she stopped mid sentence and started moaning. wiener dog left the bed, and the room, never to return to sleep with us again. thereafter, he wouldn't even come near me, always looked at me out of the corner of his eye with suspicion.

LOVE IT Lou!!  Watch out the people from SPCA don't come lookin for you!!

Can you sneak that recipe away from your wife??  I LOVE that soup.  I get it at our "Olive Garden" restaurant.  I go there just for the soup and salad lunch!  Very reasonably priced and free bread sticks.  Beer is a little steep in price though.
