I've been talked into lining my bosses D17 gas tank.  I did my WD and it came out ok.  Question is...I'm going to have to remove the fuel gauge correct?  Trying to figure out a cost for him and if I need to remove that I want to figure a new gasket.  Anyone know what that gasket costs (if there is one)?  I'm thinking a gallon of muratic acid and a quart of Red-Kote.  After that, anything I'm overlooking?

after you use the muriatic acid, and you flush it with water to neutraulize the acid, you need to use MEK solvent to absorb the water as per directions. I think the directions also says you can use another solvent. It is a good measure to go to their website and read directions. Just google redcote.  Dave.
