I'm posting this for a person who is assembling a 190 puller out of an abandoned project tractor. It is diesel but it has the gas engine ring gear and gas starter. Does anyone make a gear reduction starter for a 190 that would work in that application? The gas starter will spin the engine but just does not have the power to roll it fast enough to start it. I restored a 190 and he just called and asked if I knew of any cure. Its out of my league so I'll default to people with experience. Can anyone offer any suggestions? Any and all help is appreciated.

Call Meridian Equipment in Bellingham WA. 360 398 2141. Should be able to set you up.

that one will not work with the gas ring gear
