AC B, you can find the tractor #, in front of the shifter lever, post that, and you can figger out the year it was made.  I say early, cause it has hand brakes...  Welcome to the forum...Clap

I really appreciate everyone help! I’m new to dealing with tractors this old. Thinking of buying this one and cutting my teeth on tractor restoration. I understand these at not worth much restored but it may open the door to bigger and better.

Beware of B's , especially the ones set up to mow it seems they can be assembled from many years models. The rear wheels seem interesting.

The rear centers were like pictured-5-bolt with center nut on the adjustable front on the very early models.  They are smaller studs than later models. Leon

Corbin

The seat is from an after-market supplier back in that era.

Could be a 'Monroe'

For restoration a shop manual and op manual will be handy. I have a shop manual on line at: http://geraldj.networkiowa.com/Trees/Allis-Chalmers-G-B-C-CA-Service.pdf" rel="nofollow - http://geraldj.networkiowa.com/Trees/Allis-Chalmers-G-B-C-CA-Service.pdf
and a military B op manual at:
http://geraldj.networkiowa.com/Trees/BMilitary.pdf" rel="nofollow - http://geraldj.networkiowa.com/Trees/BMilitary.pdf
http://grandpas-tractor-site.s3.amazonaws.com/manuals/ac" rel="nofollow - http://grandpas-tractor-site.s3.amazonaws.com/manuals/ac
May have an operator's manual for the civilian version.

So is the alternator bracket mounted on the casting boss or drilled and tapped into the block?
