I picked up a David bradly corn sheller last December off an auction, and these larger ones have a blower from what I understand that blows the shelled corn up a pipe and into a bag or wagon. The one I have is missing the blower wheel, hoping someone on here has a sheller similar to it, and they are willing to open it up and send a picture of the wheel to me so I know what it looks like, so I can either source one or build one.
John Deere #43 sheller looks like it would have the same blower wheel set up as well.
Thanks, Carl

The blower and pipe should be to suck the shucks away and blow them into a pile. Shelled corn should be augered away. Nevermind everything I just said. Googled the Deere and see it now. AaronSEIA

I used to have a JD43 and it wouldn't blow corn worth a hoot. I took the blower apart and found I could buy new rubbers for the impeller at the dealer. They were just cut up old tire tread. Anyway, when I got it back together and fired it up, I had the spout hanging just inside the tailgate of my wood flare box. It blew the corn so hard it bounced off the middle of the wagon floor and spayed out over the front of the wagon. I had to tie a gunny sack around the outlet to deflect it enough to stay in the wagon. That impeller was just a thin round piece of cast iron with fins on it, kinda like a water pump in an old car.

We have a David Bradley cage sheller that we run at our show in the fall but at the moment it is clear in the back of a neighbor's barn and buried. I can get some pics at a later date but you will need to remind me. As I remember it looks as Charlie described it.
