I’m wondering did the 45 diesel have a different steering shaft in it? I’m working on putting one of the 200i Diesel engines in my wd45, I had a g230 from a A2 combine a few years ago in it and I cut and added 2 more universals to the shaft but put a stock one back in when I put the 226 back in, but looking like I may need to cut this shaft again any ideas

All the steering parts on a WD45 gas or Diesel are the same from the steering wheel to the front end. You need to use the oil pan from the WD45 Diesel for the steering shaft to clear, If you didn't use a wd45 diesel pan on the AII engine the shaft hit the right side of the pan.

-------------
3 WD45's with power steering,G,D15 fork lift,D19, W-Speed Patrol, "A" Gleaner with a 330 corn head,"66" combine,roto-baler, and lots of Snap Coupler implements to make them work for their keep.

Thanks for the info I was hoping that this four cylinder from a f2 would fit better but the bed plate is pretty wide and I’m thinking it’s going to make me do some cutting oh well it should be awesome when it is finished though thanks again
