| Does anyone know where to get a steel fuel line for a series 2 D-17? Or does anyone have a good used one they want to sell? I searched on line and I see them for a bunch of other models, but not D-17. |

I just replaced mine, used steel brake line. Looks really nice! ------------- D14, D17, 5020, 612H, CASE 446 |

| I used a soft copper tubing so you can hand form it from Napa. Then used compression fittings to attach both ends. Looks nice imo |

Steel is harder to work with but better to use in this application. Compression fittings. I have serviced a lot oil fired furnaces over the years. They use 3/8" soft copper to feed fuel oil from tank to gun, then 1/4 or 1/8" soft copper from pump to nozzle. I have found that using compression fittings with ferrels have a tendency to leak after they have been taken apart a couple of times. Flare fittings hold up much better.
