Did anyone else see the slide listed on eBay (Item 162718983246) of 190 Tractors in the Factory? It sold with a buy-it now, so is no longer available. I sure would like to get a photo made of it. If someone on the Forum got it and would make some photos I'm sure they would sell. If someone could post a link, thanks in advance. I've not seen a photo like that before.

Thanks for posting the link and photos Lon. If you click on the link and get to the listing, you can then click on "See original listing" link and will be able to zoom in on the photo. Some observations I made are; 1. I count 17 tractors 2. All are straight 190's 3. At least one with snap coupler. 4. One has the bolts in the rear wheel center to mount weights. 5. One has two slab weights mounted on the front. 6. All appear to have the Super Deluxe Seat. 7. The ones I can tell are diesel. 8. One appears to be missing the decal on the seat back. 9. One has rear wheel weights installed.
What else can you spot, where's Waldo?

That is a great factory photo. It makes me feel like I'm on a factory tour in 1965. Thanks for posting it. So, are the One-Ninetys parked opposite the windows in the final staging area awaiting specific options or approval? And the ones coming down the track near the windows, are just out of the paint booth/decal area?

I think there are two with bolts waiting for wheel weights. The one closest to the camera where you can still see the wheel and the closest one that is kinda facing towards the camera with two men working on it and two air hosing hanging down to it..

Looks like all the ones close to the camera are off line for some reason maybe options like weights or deluxe seat or problems if you look in the middle there's one coming in from the other side on the line with no hood sheet metal then they turn and go away on down the line ,back to you like. stated nice picture ty for posting

I bet you could have a camera shop make an excellent picture from that slide. It's a great find.

There is 2 190 diesel tractors for sale relatively close to me, both in decent shape. I have not actually seen a 190 tractor in person. Nice slide, pretty cool. Trev.

That's good news Luke. I'm glad someone on the Forum got it. I just couldn't pull the trigger on eBay. Would you consider making some prints and selling them? I was thinking at least an 8x12. Thanks. Jim

I see 2 have no grill and one has front weights. They sure looked pretty when new. I would really like to find a nice early 190 diesel like pictured.

I also love these pictures especially since I own a 190XT. My question is, does it appear the front wheel outer rim is silver to match the rears? It’s hard to see as all I can see is a side view but it appears they are silver with the centers being creame?

I guess I need to break out the silver paint and correct mine. Were they that way in 1968? I have a series II.

Somewhere in the production, the silver was dropped on the front wheels. I think it was a series 1 thing. You never see silver on series 2 or 3 brochures.

I was thinking the same thing Ed. I never researched series I because I have a series II. Colored factory pictures have been hard to come by at least for me. Norms book was my guide when I painted it. I would like to have a brochure of the 1968 models if anyone has one for sale.

A "series 2" was from s/n 19001 to 23000, so there weren't many made when the S-3 was released.

We had a series 2,bought new by my grandpa it had silver and cream rims. It was one of the first series 2 tractors so it may have had rims made for a series 1. Either way it looked good.

Dad bought a new Series II 190 in 1968 that we still have. The front rims do not have any silver.

I have a bunch of 8x11 photos I got from A-C when I was about 12 years old i'm going to be 61 on mon. they are all b&w but really neat I should have some prints made. They range from the 10-18 to the 220. I had wrote a letter to A-C and they sent them to me. I was one happy kid.

Well I've got 2 brochures on the very first 190's and XT's and have looked thru them countless times and never noticed the silver rims with cream centers. After reading this post I looked and by golly they are silver colored!!!! They really don't look bad.

I think Wal-Mart in their photo dept. still copy pics. and slides. I had a pic of my new '69 F 100 which I ordered in a special red color. I took it in, they made a copy 8x11. First time no match at all. No problem, they did another one and it was a perfect match. So I believe if you took the pic. in and help them match the colors you would be satisfied.

There's a 1965 One-Ninety Brochure on eBay (222694623982 If someone again can link to it) that has a real clear photo on the cover showing the silver colored outer rims.

Wondering if they painted the rims before the center hubs were riveted in. I assume the rims were supplied by a vendor?? I guess I have a few models to repaint the rims on!! LOL
