Found a series 3 D17 with this front end. The pivot under the bell housing is welded and looks home made. What should it look like? |

Sorry, you are incorrect. A diesel wishbone will not fit under a gas engine (longer than a gasser). Very late series II was the change to the bigger wishbone.
