put a BW s200 on for this season , seems a lot stronger , 4th low(7th) still wondering if I should cut the fuel back some.

I run a 200 and what helped me was putting a smaller exhaust housing on the turbo and driving the turbo harder so you don't fall under the turbo on the end , I don't know what you are building for boost ? Allischalmers 301 engines don't breathe very well , doesn't look like to much fuel to me , step the exhaust down one step and try that , thinking that will help you a lot , I build around 48 psi of boost and spin out at the end every time .

Good looking tractor,, it definetly fell off at the end , id try Allisplumbers idea, I wouldn't back the fuel down, its a good black, its keeping the flame down , flames out of the stack look cool, but it means stuff under it is HOT !

I would step that down 2 sizes , the 301 motor will not over turn that big turbo unless you have some major head work done to it , I'm only running a .58 on mine but my turbo is smaller then the s200 , good luck hopefully that will keep it alive for you

The .83 is pretty small. I think you drowned it with fuel at the end. That pump had enough fuel to feed a 426. It takes heat to drive the turbo.

should I turn torque screw in a 1/4 inch, or would  that cause complications in other sections of that built pump  ? Thanks for advice as well ED.

Thats what my 18 year old son keeps telling me, and you can never go wrong with a cooler charge of air, but not allowed if I want to  pull in OTTPA, although when your AC is 100 C I less than rest the class, maybe they should allow.  I should mention  it makes 55 lbs  boost quite easy .

try running the torque screw in, and a 1/4" would make a difference I'd think, but I haven't seen that pump in so long, that I can't even guess where the screw was set. I would have left it wide open last time I had my hands on it. It will not hurt anything.

Good looking 190. What tires are you running? Is the rear end stock and if so have you had any issues? I pull mine in the stock farm class. Ed has done his magic on the pump, and I put in a 6 puck clutch. I had plenty of power and spun out. Previous owner put tires on from the local coop. Okay for the farm but not for pulling. Would love to have some Firestone radials.

tires are Good Year dyna torque, they where cheap, not my favorite tire.  Has new 3rd and 4 th A&I gears, sliding collar, shift fork.

2018 UPDATE.  New steel flywheel and double disc clutch from ATLAS tractor, (very smooth instalation and works great).  Boost pressure runs 52-54 psi and exhaust pressure at   32 psi.  BW S200 57 x 61 with .83 exhaust housing.  should I go with tighter exhaust housing ?  

first hook  in 3 high  track very tight,  second hook in 4 low.

From the catalog I have the .83 is the smallest A/R ration housing offered for the S200. With the exhaust pressure being as low as it is that would probably explain why it dies off so fast when the load hits. Almost think the 52mm S200 would have balanced better. Everyone thinks bigger is better.

shorter tire will sure keep the rpm's up. even if you went up a gear ?
