I made a good deal on a D14 with a 400 loader today. It has not run in years and had been in a barn. Missing hood sides and cover panels. Tires bad and both rear wheels have been repaired. Loader is in good shape.
I had looked at this tractor several years ago. I had made an offer, but got no reply. I bought it from a man who recently bout it from the family I had made an offer to.
I paid $500 for it. I had offered $1400 to the estate. I'm pretty pleased with the deal.

You made a GREAT deal !!!! It's got power steering and the op/tach meter, looks like an 'interesting' air cleaner... put gas in the tank, add battery, some air in the tires and you'll be good to go !!

Yep, a great deal. The loader is worth what you paid and your original offer was a fair price. I would like to have a loader to go on my D15.

It does have power steering and a tach. It also has a front mounted pump.

DJ... in the first pictue look at the distributor. Shiny thing is the nut for the tach cable....
UNDER the dist there's a U-shaped tube...sign that it has power steering
BTW most smart farmers took the side covers off so BEES and WASPS wouldn't make homes inside..IF you knew where the tractor had been used, a shed or barn on the property might have the side panels... I have ONE panel out of 8 in my fleet....sigh.

Loader looks better than the one I drove to WI for Joe, brought it down for one of the D15II units but have yet to get it into Manzanno's to replace metal on the boom. Raymond did my 517 and it looks factory, even installed new ends for pins and you can't ell he even removed the old egged ends.
