Has anyone seen an Earthmaster CN sold? I am looking at one that is complete but not running. The engine is not stuck. I am interested in it, but have not been able to find anything on pricing.

I've only seen one in pictures. Rare tractor. Late 40's???

Just because they are rare doesn't always mean they are expensive. I'd say anywhere from a couple hundred to a couple thousand. Mostly depends on the seller and how much the buyer is willing to pay. If the seller is a little old widow, you don't want to take advantage of her but if it's just some guy trying to get rid of a tractor they don't have any use or interest in, it's just a matter of negotiation.

A rare "oddball" tractor it is, but not that expensive. Depending on overall condition, parts missing/not missing, and what it would cost to restore it determines the pricing. I've seen a few sell, and I owned one once. What you described... $800-1500.

You are right that rarity and value do not directly relate. The problem with the odd ball tractors is the low number of collectors. I bought a MM BG a few years ago. Only about seven hundred where made, but that did not make it valuable. Finally sold it to a guy in SD who was a MM guy and wanted it to cultivate potatoes. Bought a second one and sold it to a guy who collected off-set tractors.
