My PTO lever sheered off! It broke close to the transmission so theirs no way to weld it back on. any ideas on how I replace it? ------------- '38 B with belly sickle,'52 WD,'54 WD45,'39 WC,'47 B |

| Can you drill it and tap it, then put a hardened bolt in it with a long thread. Then tack weld it. Then cut the unthreaded part off. Put a fabricated handle on it and tack weld the new handle to the all thread? |

| Clean weld from lever, place lever over shaft and re weld. Have done a lot of them. MACK |

The heat would probably melt the O ring, then you would always have an oil leak there. Split the tractor where the torque tube meets the transmission.
