Thanks ahead of time, this is a great forum
Question one, what is the difference between a solid clutch and one with springs.
Question 2 is it possible to just replace the 3 release levers ,and where could you obtain new ones.

The original factory discs had segmented facings that used a thick one against a thin one and they were alternated on each side. That allowed only half of the facings to make contact at the very beginning of engagement.  If your going with all new stuff those are no longer available and you can only get the full circle lining, for which which you'd want a spring loaded center. I have a lot of NOS clutch parts available, some linings and levers.  Do you have an 8-1/2" disc or 9"? There were also a couple different pressure plates used at the factory, that used different parts.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY
