We are off to an antique plow day with the G. The G is a real nice unit to plow with.

Far as I am concerned the G was the best plowing tractor I sold.
The offset coulter could really handle the trash.
One time, we went to a fleld of honeysuckle.  The buyer had cleared a spot.  We asked him if he wanted the whole field plowed.  He said yes to we just went to the uncleared section and plowed without problem.  It was the coulter that did it.
In fact, we sold a lot of G's by "betting the sale" if it would plow.  People could not believe that big plow could be pushed by that little tractor.
Enjoy the G.  Wish I could plow with one again.  It was fun.
Good Luck!

Bill, that is really interesting to hear about! You oughta write a book...... Did you ever see a G with a 5-head "roto-vator" belt-driven off the pto?

Bill, how did you decide which moldboard to use? Also did you ever sell a G plow that used the modern bullet point plow point? My book shows them but I have yet to find/see one.

Dave saw your question on the Forum as to if we used a Rotovator on the G.
We did not sell one on the G however, we heard of them but did not have a need in our area for that type of mulcher.
G was a fun tractor.  We sold so many in relation to other dealers that we were suprised by a visit by Sales Manager Mr. Stevenson - who later became president - and Mr. Van Hurke of the engineering company inquiring as to how we sold so many G's.
Worked great in our area and was an outstanding seller.  We hated to see it discontinued.
Good Luck!

Gordy,  We used whatever moldboard we could get.  We liked the cast moldboard and the steel moldboard.  We did not sell slat moldboards.
I do believe at the end we did sell the Bullet Blades for the plow on the G.  I do not remember when the bullet blades came out but I do believe it was late in the G run.  They all worked well.
Good Luck!

I have 2 pair/right & left, of plows for the G, #325 & # 24. If anyone ever sees a G plow that uses the Bullet Blade for sale please let me know. There 3 models #331,332, & 333 in both right and left. I would like to see one even if it's not for sale.
