Looking over the Gleaner for sale ads today, I saw this one for a 1958 Gleaner for $1500 (yes, I know this should be in the classified section) and I immediately thought of Creston, since he didn't make the deal on the last $1500 Gleaner at Yale, OK.  But as I looked over the ad, there was a link to a story by the Hays, KS newspaper that also carries a video clip of that Gleaner that many of your older guys like me may enjoy.  So that is why I posted this here.

The link to the Craigs list ad is:  http://wichita.craigslist.org/grd/5860293761.html" rel="nofollow - http://wichita.craigslist.org/grd/5860293761.html

The link to the newpaper article & video:  http://https://www.hayspost.com/2016/06/29/old-school-twentieth-century-farming-in-a-21st-century-world/" rel="nofollow - https://www.hayspost.com/2016/06/29/old-school-twentieth-century-farming-in-a-21st-century-world/

Hope you enjoy this article and video as much as I did.

That was a very interesting and inspiring video.  I thoroughly enjoy seeing the older machinery at work.  Thanks for posting Dana

Wow!!! Those are beautiful!!

My heart's beating 100 miles an hour looking at them. They look awesome!!
I'd jump up and grab them in a heartbeat, but there'e always the problem of not enough shed space and not enough extra $$$ around. Cry

Plus...I already have my dream collector combine, a Super 100! Big smile

But since granddad had an A and dad ran a G on custom harvest, I'd like to have them both someday!

That G looks pristine and is a hydro and a diesel. Hard combo to find. Be a good one to have

Both of those machines should be in the Smithonian Museum.
