Hello,
I am trying to rebuild an old Allis B belly mount sickle mower.  This mower must have sat in black muck for many years as the mower bar is pretty badly pitted and the rockguard ledger plates are actually bowing upward.
I need a picture of the pitman arm on the tractor side. I cannot find pictures of the clamp that connects to the eccentric. I have the ball side, but I'm missing the other end.  I need to see one and how it connects. Does the clamp ride on the 2 knobs or does it go over and around?
Also is there a online owners manual for the b belly mower.  That would be a great help.
Thanks, John.

I don't have a pic and I'm 100 miles away from the mower, but the piece that clamps on the tractor end is forked and it rides on those 2 knobs like you say.
If no one has posted a pic by Saturday, I'll get one when I'm home.

You might want to try the AGCO parts book on line.  It would show you a picture.
Perhaps someone can give you the address for it but it works well.
Good Luck!

ps:  If you intend to cut with the mower be certain to get the right size pitman rod so you will be in proper time to cut

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

there are two steel arms that look a lot like the other end of the pitman, except they have a hole for the "PIN" instead of the half moon ball socket. These two arms bolt to the wood stick... there is a vertical "pincher bolt" that holds to two parts tight on the  drive pins.
