Put a muffler on my '37 today, thought I should test it and it took about 5 miles in a loop to accomplish. Shoulda took a camera with me as a neighbor  was cultivating sweet corn with his G,  I didn't know he had one, that makes two within 2 miles of me . I haven't named this tractor yet, but I think she will be Gracie. She is quiet and has the smoothest governor.

I will put her fenders back on once we get her problem with drooling on the inside of the rear tires fixed. She must be the Alpha  female, she marks her territory. Once she has fenders and a toolbox, a drink holder and maybe a small rearveiw mirror we are gonna be in high cotton.   Oh, and maybe an umbrella if I can find one that suits her good looks.

Be careful, thats how I got started, got it apart and decided she deserved new bearings and seals too.  Once I got it that far apart it looked like the rust should be cleaned up, so on and so on, now its on blocks, fenders are in electrolysis tanks and the rest is getting ready for primer.  You're right about the sweet sound they make, only way to improve it is to put her in front of a two bottom plow.

Very nice, Gary. Be careful - I sense a relationship building between Gracie and you!

Love the old unstyled WC's. Looks like you have a good project in the beauty shop.
Will have your cake and be able to eat it too ---- one all nice and pretty, and one in her work clothes -- great!
