I was looking through ebay and seen this. Its a pretty nice tractor, but the starting bid is at $50,000. I think there must have been a problem. http://cgi.ebay.com/Allis-Chalmers-C-Tractor-/390198638760?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5ad9a6b8a8 - http://cgi.ebay.com/Allis-Chalmers-C-Tractor-/390198638760?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5ad9a6b8a8

Who is that guy kidding?  For $50,000 that thing better be half made out of gold.

Looking at the seller's other tractors (and I seem to recall seeing this seller before), they are priced in range.  I'm guessing thought he was typing 500.00 but missed the decimal point and got it at 50000.  Mike

Richard - if you are willing to go as high as $1, you are to rich for my blood! LOL.
Nice tractor, but it is a C, and further than I want to travel right now. So I will not bid $1.50. Glenn

Is it a C or CA?  The seller claims it has a 4 speed transmission, Humm, maybe he counts reverse!

Must be a C - I see no evidence of a hand clutch, and the seat is the C style.

CA's have power shift wheels and bosses on the torque tube for tapped holes. They also have either snap couple bell or pin hitch for the drawbar.
