i'm going to go look @ an Allis Chalmers 8070 two wheel drive (82' model).  What are some key things to look out for? as i'm not familiar with these tractors...
 
If there are any pros and/or cons about an 8000 series tractor will be helpful as well.

Justin the only big disapointment in a 8070 is the big 1000pto shaft kind of limits what you can do with it you can put the 540 1000 shaft in it its just a little time consuming Niel

I think they are good tractors , the big thing I believe or what Ive heard is the main bearings in the engine ; 5000 hrs is time to change them ; but then again alot has to do how it was serviced , and how it was ran , some ole tractors have had theres guts pulled out + Ive got a couple of those !!!!
