Should be the 6070, as its really the only rare tractor there, because it's the last AC made, hard to find another one . The 220s are more of a myth. There are more then 100 of those 220fwa around. You just see to many. And there is nothing on paper to really prove how many there are. But everyone will get there wieners out on that one !!!!!

I would agree with IG the 6070 is the one and only.  True museum quality.  That 8070 experimental bothers me.  In my eyes its not worth more than a low hour 8070 if that!

Not even that , in my opinion

I say the 6070 - after that, I think there are a couple contenders for #2.

Same here. I watched the Machinery Pete video regarding the experimental and my take away on that was it's really just a bunch of parts they scrounged up here and there?

That 8070 has got a lot of people wound up it should not be worth a whole lot more than a regular 8070 the only thing it's got going in my opinion is looks the axel look better out front doesn't look as scrunched up.

The 6070 does have everything going for it. It's not just the last 6070 made, It's THE last A-C made - period; Not counting those new lawn mowers from Briggs, of course.) Plus, it's a mint, one owner with insanely low (If accurate), near unheard of hours - less than a hour a year since new......I bet the new owner gets a little misty eyed when that tach rolls to 30.

When the words "Value" or "Worth" get used, some people only think in monetary terms. But there's all different forms of value and this tractor has it on multiple levels. So, even if doesn't bring the most money, it's "worth" is still greater than the others in my opinion.

Imagine if you had this one and then found the very 1st 10-18, then all you'd have to do is fill the spaces in between!

This should sum it up.... 6070...=PRICELESS!!!!!

To me it would be the 6070 no question! The last AC tractor ever built and it's in show room condition. Add that to your collection and you could almost charge admission. 220 fwa is cool but it's not history

I was not expecting these big numbers till the last day, or perhaps hours of the auction. These online auctions most guys hold out till the 11th hour. Lots of time left. Should be interesting. My vote is he 6070 will be tops! I just hope it ends up closer to me than farther away! Lol. I would love to see it once in my lifetime!

How are you guys seeing the bids.
I would say the 6070 to, hope it goes to a good home. At this point it's one of a kind and you would never restore something back to what that tractor is.
I don't have any experience with the 8xxx but watching the video and with your guys other post, that 8070 "experimental" is nothing more then what the guy said. We built this tractor out of a bunch of pieces don picked up from allis.
But I think it's an awesome collection and its a sham it's going to be split up. I know a lot of you dought the low hours on many of them but even if half is real, that's stil awesome, and watching the video it seemed that he wasn't just seeking low hr on the tech but straight clean no wear tractors which means lower then normal hours.
Hope the new owners keep them as nice

I think I'll buy that final 6070 (Then I can say I have the newest real A-C tractor in the world!)
Let's see, first I'd stick a front end loader on it and use it to clean out the cattle barns, then run an auger with it during harvest, and maybe get a fancy blade for it and push snow in the winter time (Hey, it has a cab) I wonder what it'd do at the tractor pulls if I modify it a little.....you know....take some gears out of the transmission to get into the lighter class, pull the glass and whatever "accessories" aren't essential...then beef up the engine a little, add a couple chrome stacks....

Lol!! NO!!!!! LOL I'd never do that!!! Needless to say, I could never afford it. It'll make a nice tractor for someone. I think it's the most valuable A-C tractor, because it's the LAST ONE!!!

I would also say the 6070 would be worth the most. I desperately hope that the new owner has enough sense to NOT use it for any work and keep the low hours!

There's a saying about a fool and his money.  If the "experimental" goes for big bucks, there will be at least two fools involved.  Wink

The 6070 should be the high one.  Clap

Creston, I was afraid we were going to have to get the rope!  Glad you were just kidding.
If anyone at AGCO had a brain, they would buy that 6070 and display it at Company Headquarters, but we know that won't happen, they won't hardly acknowledge that AC is the base of AGCO!
Anyone think the 6070 will bring over $100,000?  A friend of mine just sold his 1950 something bathtub Porsche for $96,000, surprised a lot of us and made him very happy.

I will go out on a limb and say the 6070 sells for over $250,000. And worth it!

I agree with Gleaner on the FWA 220, every decent size A-C show I have attended has somewhere between 1 and 4 of them,, buttt obviously the demand is still there at this moment.

What's all the hulaboo about authenticity and the 8070 "experimental" ?  I watched the video and the guy stated that it was built from a pile of parts to their own personal whims and make no claims to it being anything else?  Or did I miss something??

Top seller has to be the 6070 for who knows how much $$$$????  I will go on a limb and say that I'll bet people are surprised how reasonable the ordinary 70xx models sell for.

i thought i saw the 8070 experimental was pieced together from parts of one of the 8095 prototypes??? might just be smoke someone was blowing on the old interweb though....

i'd say it will be the 6070, the 220FWA, then the 4w220. how high do you guys think that straight 8070 will go? think that's a $50,000 machine?

Left in November of 1984.  I knew then that Deutz was coming.  Earlier, I was involved in a meeting with their chief engineer who was doing due diligence while others (higher on the food chain) were in another room talking the deal.

I can't imagine anyone paying possibly over $150K for a last one made, and then put in it the working line up, but hey, people spend that kind of money on Green things and do the same thing all the time.
