Talked to a guy at the gas station this morning that I have known (I thought) for 40 years. Diehard IHC guy. All IHC equip. Bleeds Red. A very good stand up guy. We were filling up at the Co-op with all American gas from American oil wells and refined in the southern part of our state. He comes over to my truck AND PROCEDES TO TELL ME THAT HE IS RESTORING A 48 WD THAT USED TO BE HIS DAD's!!! Man! You think that.you really know someone and they throw you a good curve like that!!!Just made my day!

sometimes I walk out to my shop and look around and think "Who's the idiot that owns this place?"

May be he likes wrenching and doesn't get much of a chance with his IH tractors. Or may be he just wants some thing different to work on. did I save my soul on that one? Randy

More likely he just got tired of having to work on his Binder tractors all the time and decided to get something dependable restored! LOL

I have a WD45 Diesel looking for a spot in the shop that came from a big IHC guy or Bleeds Red as some say. His Dad had one AC tractor growing up and well you know what it was, he told me the old WD45 Diesel plowed more ground in a day then the M Farmall did
so he made room in the barn for one AC restored tractor. I see this happen all the time.
I call it mixed breed ownership. I'll bet most on here a diff color piece sitting around or out back of the barn too.lol

Randy all tractors go down at one time in their life and the red and green do too.
