Saved this Allis planter from salvage today.  Had to disassemble it to haul it.  The planter boxes are in the back of the pickup.  I've taken the markers and tongue off the trailer and they are in the loader bucket in the pictures.  Don't know the model yet, but am trying to get the manual.  Will post pic's when I get it back together.

Dave, could only fit five of the planter units in the pickup box.  The other was on the trailer under the planter, but by the time I took the pictures I had gotten it off, so it is a six row.  I'm going to need a box and couple of lids if anyone has one.  Thanks, Dave

It is a Model 600 round tongue. The 333 had rectangle tongue. jim

Thanks for the save.  Remember they don't make these things anymore.  You are saving history.
Good Luck!

I have insecticide boxes and dry fertilizer boxes for that planter if anyone needs them.  I might also have a transmission, but I would have to check the scrap pile.

that's the same planter i still use!, it's really accurate and easy to use and adjust. mines a 6-row 30". i also have an 8-row 38" with an end transport. i bought a 4-row air for $1.00 on an auction last year. have been using it for parts. careful not to break those boxes or lids. the lids only are $75.00 ea at the dealer! and if you break a seed box, the newer rectangle boxes will fit the planter bottoms. just have to drill out the rivets and replace with bolts. good job on your find!

I just picked up a similar planter.  This is my first planter and I know very little about them.  Does anyone know what model this is?

I've got this manual if anyone is interested.  $20 + Postage.  Probably work for any of them just by adding or subtracting the rows!  PM me if interested and I'll dig it out!

Thanks Joe.  I'll start looking for a manual and parts.  It obviously needs some work.

I think it has adapter plates for the seeders that make it able to use JD type B plates.
Does this make sense?

Rawleigh, can you send private messages on here?  I'd like to know how much you are selling the fertilizer boxes for.
