I have a 1949 Allis Chalmers G. A local friend told us about his father not letting them buy allis chalmers G's, because he heard about them splitting in half. Has anyone ever heard anything about them splitting?

No! Just because they look like thin does not mean they were cheaply engineered like some of this Chinese crap!

Thats what i thought, but i was getting paranoid. he said he thought they broke right in the middle in the 4 bolts

I've seen a couple broke in the middle like that but both had had loaders on them I do believe. One still had the loader on after the repair but had a different owner and was probably treated a little better.
