1,500 hours, good tires, loader. Sheet metal straight, paint good. From lookin at tractor data they were only made two years. How about parts availability? Thanks in advance.

I'm going strictly on heresay, but I believe they are pretty hard to find parts for.

Unlike the 5050 (built by Fiat) or the 160 (built by Renault), which are hard enough to find some parts for, the 6140 was built by Toyosha and had a Toyosha engine. I don't have any idea where you might find parts.

We got tractor model confusion. The 6140 is different from the 6040.
The 6040 is the direct successor to the 160.

I would add that the  hydraulic systems kept changing. The 6040 got rid of the
separate power steering pump and went with a dual section main hydraulic pump.
I don't know what drove them to get rid of the side rails and go with a structural block.
I assume the oil pan on the 6040 is now a stout casting like many Massey Fergusons that use the 3 cyl Perkins. I have seen pictures of 160's with bent side rails from loader use.

Parts are hard to find, Renault did make it mostly. Allis-Chalmers had them change the engine to a Perkins (sort of like the 170 and 175 diesels are from Perkins).

Not that many hours on the tractor you are looking at. Check the operation of the 3pt, ask if the hydraulic pump loses prime (over a week long time span). Check out the power steering. Also check for outer tie rod play, they are NLA also. If parts are missing, don't expect to find them quickly. The factory where it was made still is making tractors today, but that won't help with parts now.
