Need some info on my hd5. I've looks all over the rollers and only 2 of the 10 have a plug for lube. The others have no hex plug, no alimite fitting, no grease fitting...nothing. I've researcher this for hours and found nothing. Is there such thing as rollers that aren't meant to be serviced? Only thing I can think of is that several of the rollers have been replaced over the years. Also needing a bit more power from the 2-71. Doesn't have enough power when reversing up a steep hill. Will pour out black smoke at full throttle and just slowly loose rpms until I have to disengage the clutch and let rpms return. Any cheap upgrades I can do to get a few extra horses? It runs fine the way it is but with the work that I'm doing an extra 10-15 hp would help.

Yes called lifetime service life - when they seize up or stop turning their life is over .
they use a seal and a bushing and grease rather than bearings .
