Creston, do not know if you have had your 66 big bin wheels off yet to check the grease. We had ours off today, and though they were not dry, they needed a lot more. Since this particular combine has not been used in 30 years, the hubs were removed and the grease ports were plugged and would not accept lube. After cleaning the axle and hubs, the axles were smeared with grease and reinstalled. Now they were greased with a regular grease gun. I counted 90 pumps to fill each axle. So, since yours has not been used for about the same amount of time, jack each side up and inspect. Duane

whew...Duane...you needs one of them battery powered grease guns!

Thanks for the advice! I appreciate it! Actually, on the painted up combine, I greased it until grease came leaking out the back of the hubs. It was about 60 pumps.

On the "big bin" it had the original hubs cut off and car hubs with bearings welded on at some point. (That's the one with split rims). I inspected them and re-packed them, so they are good to go too!
