What do yall think a 1963 D-10 with a busted block is worth? The rest of the tractor is in fair shape. I have a (i think) 1959 D-10 and thought that I might pick up the other tractor for parts. I can only see a few changes on the 1963 from the 1959. Will most of the parts work on my 1959 model?
Thanks

Not an expert on the D-series, but wouldn't there be a series change from 1959 to 1963? Maybe series 2 to series 3? Somebody else will help, just bumping it up.

The Series II D 10 will have independent P.T.O. and a different hydralic pump.  Also the engine will be more cubic inches having the same H.P. as a D14.  The Series I will have the same H.P. as a CA  with a CA hydralic pump and P.T.O.

Thinking out loud, not knowing the extent of the cracked block, the condition of the tractor, and knowing the relative rareness of the D10 (approx 2500 made); it may be worth the effort to rehab it. Have seen pretty badly cracked blocks fixed up with plastic steel. If the block is too far gone to be fixed up, a donor 149 or 160 engine will bolt right in. Not for sure, however, but would suspect that the 125 would also bolt in without much of a fuss. If it were closer and it is complete, I would offer $1500 for it and consider it to be a candidate for a rehab project.
