Ok, so rebuilding the pulling wd, was going to use a wd block with a 45 crank and 1/8 inch over bore pistons but it ended up the wd block was cracked aND the Web in between number 2 and 3 was sunk down. Ended up using a wc block instead. The bearings came with the wd 45 crank. Here is what my grandpa posted on yesterday's tractors , I haven't seen the problem yet we talked over the phone about it.

Got a WD45 crank that I had ground a number of years ago and got bearings for it at the same time. Going to put it in a WC block and I noticed the oil hole in the block is towards the front while the oil hole in the bearing is in the center. Is there a difference in the front bearing from a WC to a WD45? Also middle and rear bearing have room for .011 shims while front has room for .017 shims which seems like a lot. Thanks.

I was just setting in my bearings and 45 crank over the weekend into my 45 block. I noticed that the front bearing oil hole did not come straight up like the other 2 bearings. It was ground a little off to the side to move the oil over to the centered oil hole. On mine only about half of the oil passage lined up with the bearing so I ground it over a little more with the die grinder. I thought I had a picture, but I only took picture of the hole with the bearing in.
