Folks, I picked up this car hauler a month ago and have been playing with it getting it cleaned up a little. This will be able to haul one WD sized tractor. It is a locally made unit rated at 8,000 lb load. Should work good with my truck.
As delivered:
one deck board needed replaced.
Side boards were removed. and set aside to age a little more.:)
Receiver for the 8K winch that I bougth with it.
Removed wheels and inspected brakes, Sanded rims and painted. New center caps and lug nuts.
Freebee spare from the neighbor, cleaned up to match and mounted.
Center ramp designed and built for those pesky AC narrow front end tractors. Also made a rack to store this under the trailer.
Stops were added to make the ramps safer
Power washed the deck
Rear center lights were moved down and protected.
Into the paint shop for cleaning wire brushing, grinding and a coat of Valspar anti-rust black oil base.
Took a couple days to complete this due to weather and my pace.
Wiring was re-buttoned up and added the wiring in the truck bed for the 7 prong.
Loops were added for the cross chains. and this assembly and the brackets in the truck were painted.
Thanks for checking on me and the stuff I drag home. I think I got one comment about AC's in there so this counts!:) Regards, Chris
