We have a funcitoning farm using nothing but Allis Chalmers tractor; even the combine is a Gleaner; we also have an All Crop Harvester. Look at this picture; this is getting ready to drill wheat. This is what we use: It's an Ontario grain drill made in Rochester.
Here is my grandpa (87) on the Gleaner K:
Here is our D14 with our home made snowplow and mount:
Our Little B with a buzz saw:
And of course here's the group picture we took about 15 years ago:

Right click and click "open image in new tab" to see full size. Just google my name to find my flickr photostream. The first one is a CA, I forgot to say that.

Hi Daniel, welcome to the forum. Where exactly in Hall are you? I'm just around the corner from you in Waterloo. Give me a call sometime if you are over this way and stop in. We also farm with nothing but A-C tractors. My cell number is 315-651-5177. Take care. Don Jr.

Daniel - Welcome, and thanks for sharing your pictures. Watched the video - neat. Love our 185. Looks like you were hanging over taking that, didn't see any hands on the wheel for a while - does yours run on auto pilot - LOL.

LOL I'm furrow plowing. No steering necessary; I'm sitting on the fender. I have ridden on the hood before because I was cold.

Between posting this and that reply, in fact. Just this morning. I'll shoot a video but my camera is half broke. It goes so straight. It seems like the 190 will always make it's way out of the furrow quickly. But that has bigger front tires. For some reason the front tires on our 190 are oversized. It's enough to make it look a little funny and feel bigger than it is. I'll just post a picture.

Welcome abord Daniel! I live in Newark about 30 miles north of you. Living in Hall I'd think you'd have nothing but green with Lakeland being right there. I see you have an Oliver plow, we have one just like it, 4 bottom with an add on to make it 5-18". Oliver made a great plow.

Don't fall off the tractor plowing. Sitting on that fender is asking for trouble!
But, thanks for the pictures and video!

Welcome to the forum! My grand dad had a 185 with the air filter under the hood too. Don't see too many set up like that! Thanx for postings, and 'hang on'.

Enjoyed the video - but working with farm equipment barefoot? And hanging out on the fender? Both seem like asking for trouble. Glad to have you on the Forum and enjoyed seeing your orange collection - but please be safer.

Nothing mediocre about that pic Daniel. 4 generations on the farm is something to be proud of.
Glad to see you're still with us. Watched your vid of you riding on the plow with nobody on the tractor. Might want to be careful. Looks like you got somebody that is waiting on daddy to come home. they also want to do everything daddy does, so keep that in mind.
Thanks for sharing the pics.
Got one of those Ontario drills at the old home place on the farm, but it's almost rusted/rotted into the ground. Shed it sat under is long gone too. Nice to see one still being used.
------------- I didn't do it! It was a short, fat, tall, skinny guy that looked like me!

At 89 years old, the oldest in this picture has died this past month. See why it's important to get these kind of photos while you can?
