My AHHC wasn't working right for the first couple rounds so the beans weren't getting cut like I thought they should. You can see the stubble is high in some spots. I somehow "fixed" the problem. Took panels off looking for mouse nibblings, switched coils, etc etc but didn't find much of anything then tried the 6th fuse and that one didn't blow so away I went. I hate having a known unresolved problem looming over my head. Later I'm going to pull the whole harness out of the cab and give it a good going over but right now everything, including every sensor/monitor is working as it should be.

And the problem is I'm not too good so I has to let the combine do it for me
actually every time I lifted or lowered the header at the end rows the fuse would blow, the automatics just wouldn't work properly but not blow the fuse. whatever, it works now

Look inside your hydrostat handle. I had both the L2 and L3 do the same intermittent fuse blowing and that is where I found the problem on both

Did that. I found a dried up long dead mouse in there and a bare wire where it had been rubbing on a metal edge but it still blew fuses after fixing that then I got the magic wand out and walla it started to work.

Dual fuel tanks? I'm going to look like the Gleaner novice I am, but I hope that's overkill!

Mine didn't come new that way. Someone before me added an M tank to it. Holds somewhere around 165 gallons. Nice to not have to think about fuel for a couple days.
Shameless, I know you were teasing. I used to not think twice about manually raising and lowering the header and watching close so as to not push dirt with the old E. It is kinda nice not to be watching so intensely. It'd be ever better if I'd gotten all the stones picked this year. BTW after about 70 acres of cutting with plenty of stones I haven't broken a sickle section. That was always a problem before I put the SCH cut system on.

I've never seen dual fuel tanks before either. Learn something new every day! Nice looking machine, Lonn. I remember cleaning all the windows in one of those when they were brand new before it left our dealership.

Is there any extra bracing with the second tank? Ever have any cracking on the back with the extra weight? Been thinking of putting a second tank on our L3 but wondered if the back end would handle the extra weight ok.

We have a second tank on our L2. I got over 100 acres on about 150 gallons. I was also fighting the auto header fuse blowing and this year found that when I raised the head the wire harness would rub the cylinder drive ideler pulley and short. You might check there too. I am also running SCH and I don't think I've replaced a section in 2 years. But we only run about 125 acres a year.

Not bad on fuel. I have dual tanks on the Ford, because they're needed. If both tanks drained quickly, that wouldn't be cheap!
Looks like a sharp setup!

I was replacing 10-sections a day or better until I found out the header teeth were taking them out setting down to low. now when combining I raise the reel up a bit and no more problems! whew!

Did you have any Videos of your XT and 7030 and 7050?

Unfortunately I didn't get any pics or video of tillage work this fall. Everything seemed so busy and hectic between work and farm. I didn't use the 190 at all this fall either. Just the 30 and 50.
