How can I tell if I have an D-10 industrial, or an I-40, or an I-400. What are the distinguishing characteristics? I can't see the serial number as the loader frame in in the way.

If your grill looks like a regular D-10 farm tractor then it's a D-10. The industrial's had a more squared off grill. The front axle and rear wheels are heavier and non adjustable on the industrial's.

If you clean up the spot on the bell housing where the serial number is you can likely see it with the use of a mirror from behind the loader frame.
------------- Currently- WD,WC,3WF's,2 D14's B. Previously- I 600,TL745,200,FL9,FR12,H3,816 LBH. Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal!
