A shop manual is pretty handy when doin a job like this. It might make a bit of difference depending on what rear end you have too, steel or cast? If you o to AGCOparts book, you might see how things come apart. Log in as a guest.

I think that gear is a 6.6 ratio where the stock is around 4.4. I have a rear end out of a speed maintainer that is a tad slower around 7.2. The 1st thing I noticed is loading on trailer, it crawls right on rather than speeding on. My second gear is about the same speed as fisrt with the stock rear end. you will like those gears. GEt some 15.5's and you have a great combo
