What do you guys use for primer on small Parts? When I get time I sand blast and clean parts then prime them. Most primers say to paint within so many hrs. or days. Sometimes these parts will set on a shelf for months. Do they need reprimed or reblasted and primed or what? Just curious as to what others do.

Epoxy is one of the few primers that is not porous. Others will allow air/moisture to penitrate and cause rust. As JB said, you need to scuff any primer that has set for some time before painting.
