Well guys and gals,,,,,,,, I haven't been on much lately because of an accident that my wife had. We were at our daughters on November 1st and going out through the garage when my wife was going down the steps and caught her toe on the last step. She fell forward and to her left. This caused her left ankle to dislocate and broke both the tibia and fibula bones that connect to it. Also in falling she landed on the concrete floor on her right knee and broke the tibia and fibula about an inch below her knee. I'd post some pics, but they are distressing. It's gonna take some time for her to heal and get back home. She is currently in a nursing facility and will be until the bones knit and she can walk again. It's lonely around the house without her and now that I'm only cooking for one,,,,,,I'm not eating well either. But that I can do as I have a LOT of extra pounds I can live off of and it'll do me good to lose some weight. The docs are saying it'll be in January before she'll get to come home. Needless to say, I'll be very busy after that, until spring..... Gettin old isn't for the faint of heart. Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving. And may God Bless......... Ted, I'm so sorry to hear of your wife's accident. It seems the older we get the more things happen that we were able to avoid when we were younger. Keep the faith, she will recover and hopefully you will survive your own cooking.
